Monday 2nd May 2011, Devil’s Marbles.
I must be losing track of time with the date I put at the head of the last report, it was far from the 25th. I am also finding it difficult realising that it is May already.
We are now at the Devil’s Marbles conservation Reserve about 100K south of Tennant Creek. We camped here last time through and liked it that much that it was a must do on this trip as well. The scenery here is something that is magnificent to wake up to in the morning with the vast array of giant boulders, some stacked as if by man, just outside our windows, and also something to really admire when stepping from the front door. There wasn’t many people here last night but it is almost full now at 2:00 PM and most campers don’t arrive until late in the day.
