Sunday 30th December 2012, Kilmore.
It is time to move from Narrelle and Matt’s to give them some freedom back. We have moved to Kilmore for a spell and then will move back to Narrelle’s so I can help Matt with some more building.
I haven’t appeared to be very happy with our decision to come to Kilmore with the site we have taken, but now we are mostly set up I am coming around a little I think. I would have thought that after booking into this park two months back, and telling them that we wanted to stay for several weeks they would have reserved us an at least decent site. Upon arrival we were given an option of two sites, both without slabs and most sites do have slabs, and both under trees which we generally request none of. We chose the one that of which the trees sap may not be as bad as the other, but the level of the ground gives one the impression that after a decent downpour we will get washed out. We will just sit for now and see what eventuates, but I do intend following up on that other park down by Seaford though.

About time I posted another report and wished everyone a merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
Matt and I have finished the in-shed buildings, consisting of Narrelle’s studio (come bedroom) and bathroom, at least enough for Adrian to live in while visiting, and in fact we only got the hot water installed after picking up Adrian from the airport. I at least did get to fully test the shower first the following day and was quite satisfied.
Back to wrapping pressies for now, so everybody have a very jolly time.

“IT’S A BOY”. About midday, Callan Lorne McCrum, 3 ½ kilo. Nanna now has another grandson to dote on. His brother and sister will be in school full time next year, so there ends Narrelle’s thoughts of free time for a while.

As one might gather I have been rather flat out since being here helping Matt build the photo studio, for Narrelle, and bathroom in the shed, which should be given away by my lack of reports lately. There are ulterior motive for helping as much as I can as the idea is that the bathroom will be for our use while here instead of using the one in the house. The rooms also will give Adrian (our son) somewhere to sleep when he comes over for Xmas without having to bother anybody in the house, it will also give us a bit more freedom and privacy for when Matt’s parents come to visit as well, so we are trying our hardest to get it finished very soon, to a usable state anyway so everyone can benefit.
Another reason for us getting back here so early was to help when Narrelle has her third baby, our sixth grandchild, but she is keeping up with her standards and is eight days overdue so far, so it can’t be long surely.
