A bit of a wasted day today and $85.00, but not really, it was worth it. I organised for a mechanic to come and check, replace, the wheel bearings on the caravan as after 18 months and about 30,000 kilometres I figured it must be about time to do it. The company I rang, Tow Safe, explained that they don’t repack wheel bearings, it is cheaper to just replace the bearings. This was alright by me as we then know what we are getting after all. I spent most of the day partly dismantling the annexe and sundries so he could jack the van up and perform his task, then afterwards I had to reassemble it all.
